This park is located right across from L'Eglise Saint Pierre and there stands gigantically the Monument of Emperor Jean Jacques Dessalines with his sword dominated the City.

My family and I were at the exact location when the workers set the last bricks for those steps.

They even used a machines to dry them on May 17, 2003 the night before the big celebration on May 18, 2003. The city was crowded with people coming from all over the world.
