The Peligre Hydroelectric dam was built on the Artibonite river. The subsequent large water reservoir created by the dam is called Lake Peligre, locally Haitians call it Fleuve Artibonite.

Good morning to all of you. ASDC Haiti has the pleasure of greeting you for all the initiatives you have made from the centre mainly on behalf of the Péligre Hydroelectric Dam as part of the development.

In addition, we ASDC (Social Action for Community Development) members, we will work in lonr and in large partenairiat to bring a positive response for the residents suffering socio-economic agricultural and others around the lake of a pelican.

This new organization is aware of the suffering of the inhabitants, according to their said; they ask for an improvement in the condition of life in all circumstances.
