Marie Ferdinand Harris is a professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Sparks in the WNBA, the First Haitian Woman in the WNBA.

Basketball star Marie Ferdinand is a graduate of Miami Edison Senior High School in Little Haiti, Miami Florida.

Marie Ferdinand is a 3-time WNBA All-Star with the San Antonio Silver Stars, formerly the Utah Starzz. Marie Ferdinand still holds the Silver Stars record for career steals with 246.

Marie Ferdinand played for the LSU Lady Tigers basketball team at while attending Louisiana State University. She competed with USA Basketball as a member of the 2000 Jones Cup Team and she won the Gold in Taipei, Republic of China Taiwan .

Marie Ferdinand was selected by the Utah Starzz 8th overall in the 1st round of the 2001 WNBA Draft

on February 22, 2008 Marie Ferdinand signed with the Los Angeles Sparks.
