The Indian peahen or is also known as the Common peahen or the Blue peahen

The Peacock is the male Peafowl, that's the blue bird with all the fancy feathers. The indian peacock is a member of the pheasant bird family.

In Haiti, the Indian Peacock is called a PAN.

Although it is common to hear the female indian peafowl referred to as a peacock or "female peacock," the real name for a female indian peafowl is a peahen.
