Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie are joining a new cast of singers ant re-recording the charity song We Are the World and sending the proceeds to Haiti.

The original we are the world song came out in 1985 to benefit Africa.

It was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and featured Bruce Springsteen, Cyndi Lauper, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel and Tina Turner, among others.

The new We Are The World Haiti edition features Snoop Dogg, Akon, Haitian actor Jimmy Jean Louis Celine Dion, Lil Wayne, Usher, Kanye West, Jonas Brothers Lionel Ritchie, Wyclef Jean,
