Toujours dans le souci de redynamiser le secteur touristique, le Gouvernement, via le Ministère du Tourisme, a initié un programme visant l'organisation du transport touristique dans le pays. Ce programme implique la mise en place d'un fonds pour faciliter des prêts (à des taux avantageux) aux chauffeurs de taxi des associations touristiques reconnues.

Ce fonds facilitera la constitution d'une nouvelle flotte d'une centaine de véhicules. L'objectif est d'accompagner les chauffeurs de taxi en les équipant de matériels et en les offrant la formation nécessaire en vue de mieux organiser le transport touristique, un élément considérable dans la chaine de service touristique qu'offre une destination.

Ce programme est financé par la Banque Nationale de Crédit (BNC) avec un accompagnement de la Banque de la République d'Haïti (BRH).
